Job summary

ITC is seeking a Manufacturing Executive for its Pudukkottai, Coimbatore plant. The role focuses on overseeing shift production, ensuring quality adherence, and executing production plans for FMCG manufacturing.

The candidate should have a BE/BTech in Food Technology with 4–10 years on the shop floor in a manufacturing setup, preferably in packaged foods, and hands-on knowledge of ISO 9001, HACCP, 5S, and SAP systems.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Food Technology with 4–10 years of shop floor experience.
• Experience in packaged food manufacturing is preferred.
• Knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9001, HACCP, 5S, SGA) and production planning.

Responsibilities

• Handle production and quality adherence in a shift in a third party manufacturing unit.
• Execute production plan and coordinate RM & PM availability.
• Implement Quality systems like ISO 9001, HACCP, 5S, SGA.
• Reduce plant downtime via manpower planning, spares availability and preventive maintenance.
• Review and improve plant productivity, cost and quality.
• Ensure adherence to statutory compliance.
• Plan stock of RM, PM and FG for smooth supply.
• Ensure FG as per ITC specifications.
• Coordinate with CMU for planning.

Role & responsibilities

Job Title

Manufacturing Executive

Reports to

Key Deliverables

1. Handle production and quality adherence in a shift in a third party manufacturing unit
2. Execute production plan, coordinate for RM & PM availability
3. Execution of Quality systems like ISO 9001, HACCP, 5S, SGA etc.
4. Reduction of plant downtime by executing timely manpower planning, spares availability and preventive maintenance
5. Review and improve plant performance in terms of productivity, cost and quality
6. Ensure adherence to all statutory compliance
7. Stock planning of RM, PM, and FG to ensure smooth delivery of supply line
8. Ensuring production of FG as per ITC Specs
9. Routine Shift activities
10. Coordination with CMU team for planning

Knowledge

– Contemporary manufacturing process and technologies in Food Industry
– Concepts of productivity, OEE, workflow, line balancing etc.
