Job summary

L&T Energy-CarbonLite Solutions in Hazira is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead turbine assembly operations for HP/IP/LP turbines. You will supervise supervisors and technicians, drive Lean and DMAIC initiatives, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate with Design, Quality, and Projects teams to meet milestones.

Ideal candidate has BE and 15–20 years of experience in heavy engineering, strong drawing interpretation, precision measurement, and cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of turbine assembly processes (HP, IP, LP turbines, rotors, casings, diaphragms).
• Proficiency in interpretation of assembly drawings, tolerances, and engineering specifications.
• Familiarity with precision measurement tools and torqueing procedures.
• Understanding of critical fits, shrink fits, mandrel handling, and interference fits in turbine assembly.
• Strong leadership, planning, and cross-functional collaboration with Design, Quality, Projects.
