Qualifications

Plan and supervise preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
Train maintenance personnel on electrical systems and safety practices.

Job Description

Manage operation and maintenance of turbine-generator electrical systems.Ensure availability and reliability of generators, motors, transformers, switchgear, and excitation systems.Plan and supervise electrical preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.Lead electrical testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of turbine-related equipment.Monitor generator protection systems and ensure proper relay settings and coordination.Coordinate turbine overhauling activities from the electrical discipline side.Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, permit systems, and statutory regulations.Analyze electrical faults, equipment failures, and recommend corrective actions.Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance resources for critical electrical equipment.Coordinate with operations, mechanical, instrumentation, and OEM teams for plant reliability.Prepare maintenance schedules, technical reports, and performance improvement plans.Train and guide maintenance personnel on electrical systems and safety practices.Support energy efficiency, reliability enhancement, and plant modernization projects.Ensure proper documentation of maintenance records, test reports, and equipment history.
