Job summary

TACO Air International Thermal Systems in Pune is seeking a Process Design & Optimization specialist to develop and improve assembly processes, boosting productivity and reducing cycle times.

You will prepare documentation such as Control Plans and PFMEAs, implement lean principles, support new product development, plan trials, and manage tooling and equipment while driving cost reductions and ensuring quality compliance.

Qualifications

• Develop and improve assembly processes to enhance productivity and reduce cycle time.
• Prepare process documentation, Control Plan and PFMEA.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and ensure ergonomic workstations.
• Collaborate with design and production teams for process feasibility and tooling requirements.
• Plan and execute trials for new models and components.
• Specify, procure, and install assembly equipment, jigs, and fixtures.
• Ensure timely calibration and maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Drive cost reduction projects through process improvements and waste elimination.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
• Documentation & Standards Maintain records for audits and regulatory compliance.
• Continuous Improvement Lead Kaizen, TPM, and other improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
