Knowledge

• Ability to research parts, assemblies, schematics, electrical drawings for parts & assemblies
• Experience in Electronics manufacturing processes & functional acceptance testing
• Hand on experience in resolving manufacturing, quality and yield related issues for commodities like PCBA, Cables, Transformers etc.
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610/620 standards (preferable IPC certified CIS)
• Utilization of various estimating tools such as CCA cost model (PCBA costing spread sheet) & Lytica for standard components to complete the detailed cost estimates.
• Develop and maintain Should Cost Models for Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS), Original Design Manufacturing (ODM) and Finished Goods (FG) assemblies such as Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs).
• Ability to Identify key cost drivers & suggest alternate low-cost manufacturing solutions
• Exposure to Value Engineering concepts.
• Have basic knowledge of finance and program management concepts and tools.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively Communicate project status and program needs across different levels of the organization and different operating environments.
