Job summary

Powerstatic Solutions India Private Limited in Sanand, Gujarat is seeking operators to perform daily operations of Generator Stator Bars and Green Bars in accordance with ISO9001 standards. You will monitor production and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support generator assembly operations.

The ideal candidate should have an ITI qualification as a Fitter or Electrician and ideally 2–3 years of experience in a similar industry. Basic computer skills and understanding of EHS guidelines are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in similar industry preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Turbo and Hydro stator bars/winding is a plus.

Job description

Responsibilities

Perform daily operations of Generator Stator Bars, Green Bars & Assembly in accordance with ISO9001 and ISO19443 standards, following the SQDC approach to achieve shift‑wise targets as per standard work instructions.

Contribute to team efforts in accomplishing organizational goals.

Follow Organization EHS guidelines and actively participate in all EHS activities and initiatives. Report stop work or concerns related to EHS & Quality and report all safety incidents as per EHS guidelines.

Perform & assign activities in line with work‑specific regulatory compliance and organizational EHS policy. Assess risks & hazards associated with tasks and determine mitigation actions.

Undergo required EHS trainings to work safely and perform tasks in a safe manner. Acquire necessary authorization/training before performing an activity.

Ensure that all contract workers are performing the assigned activity safely while working with or near the area.

Understand basic EHS guidelines, environmental aspects, and risk related to Generator Stator Assembly; knowledge of nuclear safety culture and ITNS‑I & A (Important to Nuclear Safety – Item & Activity).

Review shop documents such as MOPs, SOPs, drawings, KSL, FMEAs and Control Plans.

Responsible for preparatory work, setup, and precise quality measurements for Stator Bars manufacturing operations.

Green Bars: Operate Roebling machine, apply mastic, assemble bars, operate hot press, calibrate and test bars.

Stator Bars: Perform bending, brazing of lugs, insulation application, TVPI operation, varnishing. Operate manual & power tools, handle chemicals safely, ensure compliance with 5S and Kaizen principles.

Perform welding operations (microplasma and TIG). Perform in‑process tests such as inter‑strand tests, water‑flow/air‑flow test, leak & pressure test, resistance measurements, etc.

Monitor production, adjust tools, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support uninterrupted generator assembly operations.

Operator may be required to work in other areas as needed, based on job requirements and factory workload, after receiving the necessary training.

Qualifications

• ITI – Fitter or Electrician.
• 2–3 years of experience in similar industry (desirable).
• Hands‑on experience on Bars manufacturing, in Turbo and Hydro stator bars/winding (nice to have).
• Basic computer skills.
