Job summary

Vinuruk Technologies in Tamil Nadu seeks a hands-on Manufacturing Operations Specialist to coordinate with vendors, track WIP, and ensure on-time delivery of components across prototype to volume production.

You will inspect components with Vernier calipers and micrometers, source materials, issue purchase orders, maintain records, support assembly and testing, and report project status to management.

Qualifications

• Coordinate with vendors/manufacturing partners for machining, fabrication, winding, coating, and other processes.
• Track work-in-progress (WIP), monitor production status, and ensure timely delivery of components.
• Visit vendor facilities to resolve manufacturing, quality, and delivery-related issues.
• Ensure components are manufactured as per engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming components for dimensional accuracy and quality.
• Use measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Identify non-conformities, coordinate corrective actions, and maintain inspection records.
• Ensure only approved components are released for production.
• Source raw materials and components for production; obtain quotations and release Purchase Orders.
• Follow up on material deliveries and coordinate with stores and accounts.
• Maintain procurement records and supplier documentation.
• Maintain manufacturing, inspection, procurement, and vendor documentation.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, quality, stores, logistics, and suppliers.
• Monitor component flow through manufacturing, inspection, assembly, and testing.
• Provide regular manufacturing and project status updates to management.
• Perform mechanical assembly of motors and related components during prototype, batch, and volume production.
• Conduct functional testing and verify key performance parameters.
• Troubleshoot assembly-related issues and support prototype validation and production builds.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacturing Follow-Up

• Coordinate with vendors/manufacturing partners for machining, fabrication, winding, coating, and other manufacturing processes during prototype, batch, and volume production.
• Track work-in-progress (WIP), monitor production status, and ensure timely delivery of components.
• Visit vendor facilities to resolve manufacturing, quality, and delivery-related issues.
• Ensure components are manufactured as per engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Maintain manufacturing status reports and coordinate the movement of materials between vendors.

Quality Inspection

• Inspect incoming components for dimensional accuracy, quality, and compliance with engineering drawings.
• Use measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Identify non-conformities, coordinate corrective actions, and maintain inspection records.
• Ensure only approved components are released for production.

Purchase & Procurement

• Source raw materials and components required for production.
• Obtain quotations, compare suppliers, negotiate pricing, and release Purchase Orders.
• Follow up on material deliveries and coordinate with stores and accounts.
• Maintain procurement records and supplier documentation.

Documentation & Coordination

• Maintain manufacturing, inspection, procurement, and vendor documentation.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, quality, stores, logistics, and suppliers.
• Monitor component flow through manufacturing, inspection, assembly, and testing.
• Provide regular manufacturing and project status updates to management.

Assembly & Testing

• Perform mechanical assembly of motors and related components during prototype, batch, and volume production.
• Conduct functional testing and verify key performance parameters.
• Troubleshoot assembly-related issues and support prototype validation and production builds.
• Record test results, maintain testing equipment, and ensure products are ready for final inspection and dispatch.

Overall Responsibility

Manage end-to-end manufacturing activities, including vendor coordination, procurement, quality inspection, documentation, mechanical assembly, and product testing. Work closely with internal teams and suppliers to ensure products are manufactured, tested, and delivered on time while meeting quality, cost, and delivery objectives.
