Job summary

Persistent Systems is seeking a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer to ensure quality across web and mobile applications. You will perform manual testing, design and execute test cases, and work closely with product and development teams to deliver reliable software.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of testing experience, strong knowledge of functional and regression testing, and experience with JIRA/Zephyr.

We are seeking a Manual QA Engineer with 2 to 5 years of testing experience to ensure the quality and reliability of web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in functional and regression testing, defect management, and test case execution. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can collaborate effectively with development and product teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

What You'll Do:

• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.
• Create, execute, and maintain test cases and test scenarios.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA and Zephyr.
• Validate application functionality against business and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, and test execution activities.
• Perform defect verification and regression validation before releases.
• Ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Support continuous improvement of QA processes and testing standards.
