Purpose of the role

Layout design, Packaging study & Resolve interface issues effectively to deliver New Products, variants and upgrades achieving Q,C,D targets for respective customer segment

Role Description

• Layout preparation with optimized vehicle spec's & hard points.
• Create envelope by conducting packaging study & complete packaging of Sub systems.
• Resolve Critical packaging issues of all the Sub systems through draft concept models & verifications.
• Optimize layout based on DFX, CFD, NVH & IP inputs
• Conduct Interface check & Resolve interface issues through workshops, CFT meet
• Conduct Tolerance Stack up analysis to resolve customer complaints & other assembly issues.
• Coordinate IP activities & ensure FTO, IDF is taken care before each gate releases.
• Ensure Modularity of the layout through White space analysis, benchmark etc.
• Drawing Workflow Initiation and Follow up
• Optimize Models to meet quality, cost, development time and weight targets
• FDR & TDR Documentation
• DFMEA preparation
• DFA/DFM/DFS Closure and Special Characteristics Mapping
