Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Experience in requirement Engineering & product management
• Good exposure to requirements management tools like DOORs/DNG, polarion, RTC et cetera
• Ability to define system and software requirements (SRS, SWAD, SWRD)
• Experience in SW Systems engineering
• Build design and development strategy aligning product delivery timeline
• Drive end to end delivery of targeted connected product development and deployment
• Conduct logical analysis of architecture in collaboration with the platform team
• Develop connected system architecture – SW and HW components in collaboration with platform team
• Conduct functional and technical design review
• Conduct failure mode & effect analysis on said features
• Conduct UX review and arrive on the UX for connected features with the stakeholders
• Review of hazard analysis
• Prepare design verification and validation plan as per the feature
• Manage IP & FTOs
• Skilled in building use case and state machine diagrams
• Support with embedded application development & deployment
• Support with integration of cluster application in infotainment & connected hardware’s
• Smart sensors selection & calibration for connected technology feature design & development
• Experience in development of connected features (BLE, WiFi, GSM), Voice and Maps
• Experience in debugging wireless communications like BLE, WiFi
• Experience in communication protocols (CAN, UART, UDS, SPI, TCP/IP, UDP)
• Experience in working with cross functional team on mechanical packaging
• Knowledge on SW ergonomics, wireless communications, cloud application development
• Knowledge in design of embedded electronics hardware
• Experience in debugging HW interfaces & embedded electronics
• Knowledge on homologation standards for HMI and Automotive electronics
• Knowledge and hands on version control and configuration management in SW

Preferred if candidate is qualified and competent in

• ASPICE
• ISO26262
• Experience in building SysML, UML, Model based design
• Experience in ALM/ELM tools like JIRA, PTC, IBM, Polarion et cetera

Educational Qualification

B.Tech (ECE, EEE, Computer Science) with 3.5+ years of experience in the design and development of connected products in automotive

M.S specialization in embedded systems, wireless communications, Human Machine Interface, and Computer Science with >1 year of relevant experience
