Job summary

Teva Global Services in Goa seeks an experienced engineer to oversee operation, maintenance and reliability of all non-manufacturing plant equipment, utilities and critical systems. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams during shutdowns and changes, manage budgets and drive energy-saving initiatives.

The role covers electrical, water treatment, HVAC, nitrogen plant, boilers, IBMS installation, GMP compliance and safety.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in operation and maintenance of plant utilities and critical systems.
• Knowledge of GMP and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operation, maintenance and reliability of all non-manufacturing plant equipment and utilities.
• Lead electrical, water treatment, HVAC and related systems maintenance.
• Maintain fire pump house and ETP.
• Lead installation and maintenance of IBMS system.
• Lead qualification of utility equipment and HVAC validation.
• Ensure adherence to HSE, QA procedures and cost control.
• Manage repair and maintenance budget and deliver annual operating plan.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• 1. Responsible for ensuring operation, maintenance & reliability of all the non-manufacturing plant equipment, utilities, critical systems, assets including preventive/predictive maintenance, also be the in charge for coordinating with cross functional teams/departments in all shutdown and changeover activities.
• 2. Lead operation and maintenance of electrical, water treatment and supply till user points, HVAC and related systems, nitrogen plant, compressors, chillers, boilers.
• 3. Ensures the maintenance of fire pump house, ETP
• 4. Leads the Installation and maintenance of IBMS system.
• 5. Lead qualification of utility equipments/instruments/systems and HVAC validation and provide direction to the team.
• 6. Accountability in ensuring all legal compliances are met within the area of responsibility.
• 7. Manages the overall Repair and maintenance budget of the area.
• 8. Proposes and manages the group maintenance budget. Delivering Site annual operating plan /budget of own area.
• 9. Ensures that all HSE & quality procedures are followed and be a role model for safe behaviours.
• 10. Takes lead in Root cause assessments in case of failures and implement corrective actions as part of continuous improvements and responsible for improvement projects.
• 11. Understand site reliability strategies including value optimized maintenance, asset criticality assessments, FMEA and implement them across all utilities.
• 12. Implement Preventive maintenance plan, reviews them timely and ensures that best practices are followed.
• 13. Develops a predictive maintenance culture and ensure that best practices of maintenances are followed.
• 14. Develops great collaboration with cross functional team leaders, peers to align on priorities at site level
• 15. Ensures that right levels of inventories/ spares are maintained.
• 16. Delivering complex projects/programs on schedule and budget working with project teams.
• 17. Ensuring periodical servicing, annual electrical/boiler shut down work and other engineering related works.
• 18. Power consumption/all utilities study of entire plant and implementing appropriate energy savings.
• 19. Calibration Management
• 20. Ensure Data integrity compliance with respect to laid down procedures and systems.
• 21. Participating in GMP walkthrough rounds and SLT rounds.
• 22. Approval of GMP Document destruction Log.
• 23. Responsible to take care all other works assigned by HOD.

Reviewing and approving QMS documents.

Reporting To: Site Engineering Leader

Next Responsibility: Designated person having equivalent job responsibility.
