Qualifications

• End-to-end procurement for direct materials in automotive
• Supplier identification and development for automotive components
• Experience in Casting & Machining commodities
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers
• Raise and manage POs in SAP
• Ensure timely delivery to meet production schedules
• Monitor supplier performance (quality, cost, delivery)
• Coordinate with internal teams (Production, Quality, Engineering, Stores)
• Conduct cost analysis and implement cost reduction initiatives
• Manage inventory levels and avoid shortages or excess stock

Role & responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end procurement activities for direct materials
• Identify and develop reliable suppliers/vendors for automotive components
• Having experience in commodities such as Casting & Machining
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers
• Raise and manage Purchase Orders (POs) in SAP systems
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production schedules
• Monitor supplier performance (quality, cost, delivery)
• Coordinate with internal teams (Production, Quality, Engineering, Stores)
• Conduct cost analysis and implement cost reduction initiatives
• Manage inventory levels and avoid shortages or excess stock
• Handle vendor audits and ensure compliance with company standards
• Resolve supply-related issues and escalations
• Having exposure in global sourcing
