Job Purpose
Support the execution of bank-wide transformation initiatives by translating strategic priorities into actionable workstreams, tracking progress, and ensuring timely delivery. Enable effective program governance, stakeholder coordination, and benefits tracking to ensure initiatives deliver measurable business value and sustained impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Business / Financials
- Develop program charters, detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones aligned with strategic priorities.
- Define KPIs, value drivers, and success metrics for transformation initiatives.
- Track program budgets, utilization, and cost‑benefit alignment.
- Identify and manage risks/issues, escalations, and trade‑offs; drive timely leadership decisions to unblock delivery.
- Track outcomes and benefits (financial and non‑financial) via KPI dashboards, value trees, and benefits realization reviews.
- Support preparation of business cases and benefits realization frameworks.
- Manage day‑to‑day execution of assigned transformation workstreams.
- Track performance against targets and proactively raise risks/issues.
- Support value realization tracking (financial and non‑financial outcomes).
- Customer (Internal & External)
- Ensure transformation initiatives improve customer experience, turnaround time, and service quality.
- Incorporate feedback from internal and external stakeholders into program improvements.
- Coordinate with Business, Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, HR, and Finance teams.
- Support senior leadership with dashboards, reports, and progress updates.
- Internal Process
- Ensure adherence to internal governance frameworks, regulatory guidelines, and reporting standards.
- Drive structured program management practices (RAID logs, trackers, governance decks).
- Identify opportunities for process simplification, automation, and efficiency improvement.
- Drive change management and adoption: communication plans, training, capability building, and measurement of usage/adoption across impacted teams.
- Innovation & Learning
- Promote data‑driven decision‑making and continuous improvement practices.
- Document learnings and contribute to standardization of transformation methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and support workstream leads.
- Drive accountability and ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks.
Minimum Requirements
Educational
- Essential: Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from a reputed institution with specialization in Strategy, Finance, or Banking.
- Preferred: Additional professional qualifications such as CFA, CA, or equivalent.
- Alternative: Master’s in Economics, Finance, or related field with demonstrated strategic experience.
Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in banking, financial services, consulting, or transformation roles.
- Exposure to program management or strategic initiatives preferred.
Certifications
- Certifications in Transformation, Program Management, Strategic Planning, or Business Analytics will be advantageous.
Functional Skills
- Program/Project Management (planning, tracking, RAID, governance).
- KPI Design & Benefits Realization Tracking.
- Data Analysis & Reporting (Excel, dashboards, MIS).
- Understanding of digital transformation (automation, analytics, workflows).
- Knowledge of banking processes, risk, and compliance frameworks.
