Job summary

TP in Mohali is seeking an Experienced Training Development Specialist to design curricula, select delivery methods, deliver sessions, and monitor effectiveness across general and technical domains.

You will lead discipline-specific programs, mentor teams, and may oversee vendors to create content and conduct training, driving new solutions and ensuring alignment with department strategy. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Develop training curricula and materials for general workforce and targeted disciplines.
• Select appropriate delivery mechanisms and deliver training.
• Monitor training effectiveness for general and targeted areas.
• Provide discipline-specific professional and process/tool knowledge training.
• Offer discipline-specific competency training (e.g., Influence and Negotiation for Sales Representatives).
• Deliver non-technical training on workplace standards, processes and tools.
• Train on general skills and competencies (e.g., Verbal/Written Communications, Time Management).
• Lead leadership and management development training; may develop curriculum/materials.
• May select or oversee vendors to develop training content or conduct training.
• Act as an Experienced Specialist with strong understanding of related disciplines.
• Drive development of new solutions for programs, complex projects, processes or activities.
• Coach, mentor and train others in the area of expertise.
• Ensure implementation of short to medium term activities within the business area or support sub-function.
• Ensure policies and processes are developed and implemented to support tactical direction.
• Leads a team of Specialists with lifecycle responsibility.

• Experienced Specialist in one specialized discipline as well as having a thorough understanding of related disciplines
• Will most often be a driving force behind the development of new solutions for programs, complex projects, processes or activities
• Serves as final decision/opinion maker in the area, coaches, mentors and trains others on the area of expertise
• Ensures the implementation of short to medium term activities within the business area OR support sub-function in the context of the strategy for the department
• Ensures appropriate policies, processes standards are developed and implemented to support short to medium term tactical direction
• Leads a team of Specialists ,sometimes with several hierarchical levels, with full employee lifecycle responsibility
