Job summary

Majesco seeks an experienced Quality Engineering Manager to lead a testing organization across Insurance products and digital platforms. You will drive quality transformation through automation and AI while balancing delivery, leadership and customer engagement.

You will mentor Test Leads and Engineers, manage resource planning, and partner with Business, Product, and Development teams to ensure high-quality releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science (required or preferred).
• ISTQB certification preferred.
• AI/GenAI certifications are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Test Leads, Test Engineers.
• Drive testing strategies for Functional, Integration, System, Regression, UAT and Production Validation.
• Define quality KPIs and monitor delivery with high quality and predictable timelines.
• Partner with Business, Product Owners, Development teams and Customers to manage expectations.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing testing team responsible for delivering quality across Insurance products and digital platforms. The ideal candidate is a strong people leader with deep Insurance domain expertise, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a passion for driving quality transformation through automation and AI.

This role requires balancing delivery excellence, leadership, innovation, and customer engagement while building a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & People Management

• Lead and mentor a team of Test Leads, Test Engineers.
• Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Coach team members through regular feedback, mentoring, and career development.
• Drive employee engagement, succession planning, and talent development.
• Manage resource planning, utilization, and capacity across multiple projects.

Test Delivery & Quality Management

• Own end-to-end testing delivery across multiple programs.
• Define and execute testing strategies for Functional, Integration, System, Regression, UAT, and Production Validation.
• Ensure delivery commitments are met with high quality and predictable timelines.
• Monitor quality KPIs and implement improvement initiatives.
• Drive defect prevention and root cause analysis.
• Establish risk-based testing practices.

Stakeholder Management

• Partner with Business, Product Owners, Development teams, and Customers.
• Present quality status, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Manage customer expectations and resolve delivery challenges.
• Facilitate governance meetings and quality reviews.

Insurance Domain Expertise

Strong understanding of Commercial or Personal Lines Insurance, including one or more of the following:

• Policy Administration
• Billing
• Claims
• Underwriting
• Rating
• Forms
• Renewals
• Endorsements
• Cancellations

Preferred experience with Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, or other Policy Administration Systems.

AI & Innovation

Lead adoption of AI across Software Testing.
