Job summary

EXL is seeking a senior QA leader with 12+ years of software testing experience to design and govern enterprise QA strategies, frameworks, and governance.

You will lead a large QA team, drive automation across web/mobile APIs, and champion GenAI/Agentic testing, ensuring accuracy, preventing hallucinations, and addressing security considerations.

Qualifications

Job description

• 12+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Engineering.
• Strong expertise in Functional, Integration, System, Regression, API, and UAT Testing.
• Experience designing enterprise-level QA strategies and frameworks.
• Strong understanding of Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.

Automation

• Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks such as:
• Playwright
• Selenium
• Cypress
• REST Assured
• Postman
• Experience creating scalable automation architecture and reusable frameworks.

AI & Agentic Testing

• Practical experience using AI tools such as:
• Cursor
• ChatGPT or equivalent GenAI platforms
• Proven experience building or orchestrating QA agents for:
• Reporting and analytics
• Understanding of GenAI/LLM testing concepts including hallucination, accuracy, prompt validation, guardrails, and security considerations.

Leadership

• Proven experience managing of at least 10+ QA professionals.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to influence organizational change and drive adoption at scale.

TCOE Experience

• Prior experience working in or supporting a Testing Center of Excellence (TCOE) model.
• Experience driving governance, standardization, metrics, reusable frameworks, and enterprise-wide QA transformation.

Preferred Qualifications

• ISTQB Certification (Advanced level preferred)
• Exposure to GenAI, LLM, Agentic AI, and Voice AI testing
• Experience creating reusable AI-powered QA frameworks
• Insurance, BFSI, Healthcare, Retail, or Enterprise Digital Transformation experience
