Job summary

Adani Group in India seeks a senior procurement professional to drive package-wise sourcing and contracting strategies across major EPC/engineering projects.

You will lead end-to-end procurement activities, including RFI/RFQ/RFP, negotiations, and post-order management, while partnering with Projects, Engineering, Operations and Finance to safeguard cost, schedule and quality commitments.

Qualifications

• Engineering graduate with MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain/Operations preferred.
• Senior Manager: 14+ years or Manager: 12+ years in Capex procurement or EPC/project procurement.
• Experience in copper, non-ferrous metals, mining, power, petrochemicals or process manufacturing preferred.
• Hands-on SAP MM, SAP Ariba, e-sourcing, contract management and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop package-wise sourcing and contracting strategies aligned with project schedules and budgets.
• Lead RFI/RFQ/RFP, pre-bid meetings, evaluations, negotiations and awards.
• Manage EPC/EPCM/LSTK contracts across multiple packages and disciplines.
• Negotiate price, payment terms, warranties, indemnities and LDs.
• Prepare approval notes, POs, work orders and contract documents per DoA.
• Drive post-order expediting, change orders, claims and contract closure.
• Collaborate with Projects, Engineering, Operations, Finance and Legal to protect cost, schedule and quality.
• Develop vendors, benchmark rates, drive localization and value engineering.
• Monitor procurement KPIs, spend, risks and supplier performance via SAP/Ariba and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Develop package-wise sourcing and contracting strategies aligned with project schedules, budgets and technical requirements.
• Lead RFI/RFQ/RFP, pre-bid meetings, bidder qualification, techno-commercial evaluation, negotiations, e-auctions and award recommendations.
• Manage EPC/EPCM/LSTK, equipment, construction and service contracts across mechanical, electrical, civil, instrumentation, utilities and process packages.
• Negotiate price, payment terms, taxes, warranties, liquidated damages, guarantees, indemnities, liabilities, insurance and performance obligations.
• Prepare approval notes/NFAs, purchase orders, work orders and contract documents in line with DoA, procurement policy and audit requirements.
• Drive post-order management including expediting, billing break-up, change orders, amendments, claims, time extensions and contract closure.
• Partner with Projects, Engineering, Operations, Finance and Legal to resolve commercial issues and protect cost, schedule and quality commitments.
• Develop vendors/EPC partners, conduct supply-market intelligence, benchmark rates and drive localization, alternate sourcing and value engineering.
• Monitor procurement KPIs, project spend, risk registers, supplier performance and management MIS through SAP/Ariba and analytics tools.

Qualifications

• Engienering Graduate, MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain/Operations is preferred.
• Manager: over 12 years; Senior Manager: over 14 years in Capex procurement, EPC contracts or project procurement.
• Experience in copper, non-ferrous metals, mining, heavy engineering, power, petrochemicals, cement or process manufacturing preferred.
• Hands-on exposure to SAP MM, SAP Ariba, e-sourcing, contract management and advanced Excel.
