Job summary

DMI Finance Private Limited in Delhi seeks an experienced Manager – Tableau Designer to lead the design, development, and delivery of dashboards and visual analytics, combining hands-on Tableau expertise with people leadership and stakeholder management.

You will mentor a team of Tableau developers and analysts, translate complex data into intuitive insights, ensure data governance, and partner with data engineers to optimize performance and governance across the BI ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years of experience with 2–4 years in a managerial role.
• Strong Tableau expertise and dashboard design skills.
• Experience with data warehouses (Redshift, Athena, Snowflake).
• Security, row-level access and governance awareness.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Banking domain regulatory/compliance reporting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Manager – Tableau Designer to lead the design, development, and delivery of high-impact dashboards and data visualizations. This role combines hands-on Tableau expertise with people leadership and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate will translate complex data into intuitive insights while mentoring a team of Tableau developers and analysts.

Principal Accountabilities:

Project Management

• Design and develop advanced Tableau dashboards, reports, and scorecards
• Define visualization standards, UI/UX guidelines, and Tableau best practices
• Optimize dashboard performance and data refresh strategies
• Ensure dashboards are scalable, reusable, and user-friendly

Business & Stakeholder Engagement

• Gather and translate business requirements into effective visual analytics
• Present insights and dashboards to business users and senior leadership
• Act as a bridge between technical/data teams and business stakeholders
• Drive data storytelling and insight-driven decision-making

Data & Governance

• Work with data engineers on data models, extracts, and live connections
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across reports
• Implement security, row-level access, and compliance standards

Experience

• 4–6+ years (with 2–4 years in managerial role)

Technical Skills

• Strong experience with calculated fields, LOD expressions, parameters
• Solid understanding of SQL (joins, CTEs, performance tuning)
• Experience with data warehouses (Redshift, Athena, Snowflake etc.)
• Knowledge of visualization best practices and UX principles
