Job summary

Bonfiglioli Technology Space Pvt Ltd is seeking a Tableau Consultant to design, implement, and optimize enterprise BI solutions. You will build interactive dashboards, model data, and ensure data accuracy across ERP and data warehouse systems.

You will work with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable BI architectures, perform SQL optimization, and provide governance for Tableau content. Chennai-based role with opportunities to drive data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and deploying end-to-end Tableau dashboards.
• Hands-on data modelling, SQL query optimization, and ERP data integration.
• Experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server, including LODs, table calculations and performance tuning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and cloud data platforms like Snowflake.
• Experience with ETL tools such as BODS and Dbt.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced, interactive Tableau dashboards and reports.
• Publish and manage content on Tableau Server with governance and security.
• Model, integrate, and transform data from ERP systems, relational databases and data warehouses.
• Develop, optimize and maintain SQL queries for reporting and data extraction.
• Monitor performance, tune dashboards, and ensure usability and accessibility.
• Provide technical support and guidance to stakeholders and BI users.
• Contribute to evolution of the BI architecture and data ecosystem.

Job profile: Tableau Consultant

Summary for a Candidate:

• We are looking for a BI professional with strong expertise in designing, developing, and deploying end-to-end Tableau dashboards and analytics solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.
• The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in data modelling, SQL query optimization, and integrating data from ERP systems, relational databases, and enterprise data warehouses to deliver scalable and high-performance BI solutions.
• Strong technical capabilities in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server, including interactive dashboards, LOD expressions, table calculations, dynamic parameters, performance tuning, and content management, are essential.
• The candidate should demonstrate excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams, provide technical support to stakeholders, and proactively contribute to the evolution of the organizations BI architecture.

Required Technical Skills

• 25 years of experience developing with Tableau.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Interactive dashboards

Required Functional Skills

• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end data workflows, including ETL processes, data transformation, and integration with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake.
• Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) to extract, model, and translate complex business data into meaningful reporting and analytics solutions.

Proven ability to design and deliver business‑focused reporting solutions by aligning data models, warehouse structures, and visualization requirements to support enterprise‑level decision‑making.

Preferred Professional Experience

• Basic working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP.
• Familiarity with ETL tools like BODS, Dbt and data integration processes for efficient data transformation and pipeline management.

Experience working with additional BI and analytics platforms to support diverse reporting and visualization needs.

Preferred Education

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields.
