Job summary

Qualifications

• 35 years of hands-on Tableau development
• Strong proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud
• Excellent SQL skills with complex joins, subqueries, CTEs, and window functions
• Strong knowledge of dashboard design, data visualization, and storytelling
• Experience with calculated fields, LOD expressions, parameters, sets, and table calculations
• Understanding of data modeling, ETL concepts, and data warehousing
• Experience connecting Tableau to databases like SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or Snowflake
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Connect Tableau to various data sources, including relational databases, data warehouses, and cloud platforms.

• Troubleshoot data discrepancies and provide ongoing support for existing dashboards.
