Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead electronics system architecture design (positioning systems).
• Select sensors and motors; define interfaces and IO lists.
• Prepare GA drawings, BOM, schematics, and harness in tools like AutoCAD & E3/SolidWorks.
• Coordinate integration and testing of prototypes; define interfaces (Ethernet, 1553, CAN).
• Contribute to environmental/EMI/EMC qualification and validation tests.
• Use test equipment and signal analysis tools (DSO, signal generators).
• Support thermal and reliability analyses; contribute to packaging.
• Understand weapons systems and explore AI applications in defence.
• Harness design, cable routing for naval systems.

Position: Lead - Electronics System Design (Defence Systems)
Location: Powai, Mumbai

Job Description

We are looking for experienced professionals from the Defence & Aerospace industry for Electronics System Design.

1. Electronics system architecture design (Positioning systems). Preparation of preliminary and critical designs of systems.

2.Knowledge of sensors (Electro-Optics, Gyros, INS, pressure, position, thermal etc.), Motors & drives.

3. Preparation & review of GA drawings, BOM, schematics, Harness in tools like AutoCad & E3/Solidworks, Preparation of IO list, Cable diagram & cable schedule.

4. Integration and testing of prototypes. Experience in interface design over Sync/Async Serial, Ethernet, 1553, CAN etc.

5. Experience in unit qualifications for environmental & EMI/ EMC compliances and validation tests

6. Hands on experience with Test equipment, signal analysers, DSO, Signal generators etc.

7. Understanding of Thermal analysis, reliability analysis, electronic packaging

8. Understanding of weapons system. Application of AI in defence systems.

9. Harness Design, cable routing, Naval System

Mandatory Skills

• Experience in Defence, Aerospace, Naval Systems, Weapon Systems, or Strategic Electronics programs.
• Strong understanding of system integration, testing, and qualification activities.
• Excellent technical documentation and design review skills.
