Job summary

Enerparc Energy in Bengaluru is seeking a seasoned Manager Purchasing to lead direct procurement for large ground-mounted solar projects. You will drive sourcing, costing, vendor selections and end-to-end execution, including contracts and logistics, across civil and electrical works.

The role demands strong SAP and MS Excel proficiency, excellent English communication, and a collaborative approach with pre-bid teams to support cost inputs and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sourcing transformer, HT/LT panels and BOS items up to 110KV
• Source transport services across India
• Sourcing of services and O&M spares
• Warehouse stock management and control
• Identify potential vendors for supply & services
• Prepare and compare supplier quotes
• Negotiate offers and create SAP orders
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery
• Prepare GRN and payment documents
• Maintain records of purchases and invoices
• Vendor account reconciliation and cost analyses
• Monitor stock levels and place orders
• Coordinate with warehouse staff and maintain ISO documentation
• Maintain MIS of released orders and delivery status

• Work experience as a Manager Purchasing role – 12 to 15 years of experience in direct roles in the Company
• Good understanding of supply chain procedures
• Hands-on experience with purchasing all types of Products and Services for a Large Ground mount solar project including DC side, AC side, Sub-station and Transmission line and major equipments
• Good network of Vendors/Identifying/Sourcing for Installation services/ Vendor approval process
• Knowledge of basic Procurement and Contracts
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in Costing of Civil works, Electrical works, costing of key electrical products like; HT & LT panels, Power cables, Transformer, Sub-station & Transmission line items
• Domestic Logistics management
• Closely working with Pre-bid team to provide required inputs on costing
• Good communication skills in English
• Advanced knowledge to work in MS Excel
• Knowledge to work in SAP
• Qualification: Engineering – Preferred Electrical/Electronics, optional Mechanical with relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Basic knowledge of sourcing following: Transformer, HT & LT panels up to 110KV including Power & Communication Cables and all other BOS items required for Ground mount projects etc.
• Ability to source Transport services across India
• Sourcing of Services and O&M spares
• Warehouse stock management and Control
• Identify potential vendors for supply & services
• Compare, evaluate and prepare quote comparison for offers from suppliers
• Negotiate the offers received
• Creation of Orders in SAP
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery
• Ensure GRN creation and submission of documents for payment
• Documentation includes; Obtaining order acknowledgement, Warranty certificates, BGs and maintain their records
• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
• Quarterly Re-conciliation of Vendor account statement
• Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
• Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
• ISO documentation requirement to be maintained
• Maintain MIS of released orders, delivery status, payment status, warranty documents, Import documentation
