Job summary

HRD House in Mumbai seeks an experienced professional to lead production planning and S&OP activities for export batches. You will coordinate with multiple functions to ensure timely materials, batch releases, and efficient planning processes.

The role requires deep expertise in S&OP, demand forecasting, inventory management, and ERP/MRP systems, with strong analytical and collaboration skills to drive performance.

Qualifications

• B.Pharm / B.Pharm MBA/PGDM in Pharmaceuticals with 14-18 years in S&OP, inventory planning, demand forecasting.
• Strong expertise in S&OP, Demand Forecasting, Inventory Planning, Material Planning, MRP, and Production planning.
• Knowledge of Pharma OSD, Injectables, and Supplements is desirable.
• Proficiency in Advanced Excel and analytical skills.
• Ability to work with R&D, QA, Production, and Supply Chain functions.
• Strong problem-solving, coordination, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor weekly and monthly production plans for export batches and ensure timely execution.
• Plan materials via MRP and ERP systems to ensure timely procurement of APIs, excipients, and other materials.
• Maintain optimum RM, PM, and FG levels while minimizing inventory blockage and stock-outs.
• Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, R&D, and Supply Chain for smooth material flow and batch release.
• Prepare MIS and management reports on production variance, inventory aging, and plan-vs-actual.
• Lead S&OP activities including demand forecasting, inventory planning, and production planning.
• Utilize MS Excel, Advanced Excel, ERP and MRP for planning and data analysis.
• Apply various AI tools to improve planning, analytics, reporting and efficiency.

Role & responsibilities

• 1. Candidate will be responsible for preparing and monitoring weekly and monthly production plans for export batches and its timely execution with dealing
• 2. Candidate will be responsible for material planning through MRP and ERP systems to ensure timely procurement of APIs, excipients, and other materials as per lead times and production schedules.
• 3. Candidate will be responsible for maintaining optimum levels of Raw Materials (RM), Packing Materials (PM), and Finished Goods (FG) while minimizing inventory blockage and preventing stock-outs.
• 4. Candidate will be responsible for coordinating with Production, QA, QC, R&D, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth material flow and timely batch release.
• 5. Candidate will be responsible for preparing MIS and management reports covering production variance, inventory aging, and plan-vs-actual performance.
• 6. Candidate will be responsible for managing S&OP activities, including demand forecasting, inventory planning, and production planning.
• 7. Candidate will be responsible for using MS Excel, Advanced Excel, ERP systems, and MRP processes for effective planning and data analysis.
• 8. Candidate will be responsible for utilizing various AI tools to improve planning, analytics, reporting, and overall operational efficiency.

Preferred candidate profile

• 1. Candidate should be B.Pharm / B.Pharm MBA/PGDM in Pharmaceuticals and with 14 - 18 Years experience in Sales And Operations Planning, Inventory planning, Demand forecasting.
• 2. Candidate should have a strong expertise in S&OP, Demand Forecasting, Inventory Planning, Material Planning, MRP, and Production planning.
• 3. Candidate should have a strong knowledge of Pharma OSD, Injectables, and Supplements.
• 4. Candidate should have a strong proficiency in Advanced Excel and analytical skills.
