Job summary

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals in Goa is seeking an Assistant Manager for Production Planning and Inventory Control (PPIC) to oversee production planning, material coordination, inventory control, and SAP order processing for timely OSD manufacturing and packing.

The role requires 8–12 years of experience, a B.Pharm/M.Pharm/BE/BTech degree, and strong MS Office and communication skills to ensure compliance and demand fulfillment.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in production planning and inventory control.
• SAP order processing and GMP/compliance knowledge are required.
• Strong MS Office and communication skills are essential for MIS and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor manufacturing and packing plans to ensure timely production completion.
• Plan and coordinate JIT procurement of bottles, shippers, RM, and PM for uninterrupted production.
• Track near-expiry/retest materials and ensure timely consumption to avoid write-offs.
• Generate process orders in SAP and monitor material availability and QC release status.
• Support RD activities, including ANDA filing requirements and scheduling of RD batches.
• Ensure production plan compliance as per demand forecasts and monthly targets.
• Prepare MIS reports and maintain departmental documentation, audit logs, and format controls.
• Coordinate with Production, Procurement, QC, QA, Warehouse, and RD for effective planning and execution.
