Job summary

Sun Pharma invites an experienced HR leader to join our team in India. The role focuses on ensuring statutory compliance, workforce planning, and robust HR practices across the organization.

You will lead recruitment, policy development, and employee welfare, while developing the team and managing the HR budget. Tenure of 15–20 years of HR experience is preferred, with a strong track record in organizational development and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• M.Sc. or MBA required.
• 15–20 years of experience in HR leadership.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and timely submission of statutory returns.
• Manpower planning and workforce optimization in line with the approved manpower budget.
• Timely recruitment of staff and workmen as per the approved manpower budget and organizational requirements.
• Development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives.
• Plant administration and employee welfare activities.
• Drive organizational development initiatives through innovative HR practices and improvement programs.
• Develop and enhance subordinate team members through training, coaching, and skill-building initiatives.
• Prepare, monitor, and effectively manage the HR budget.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
