Job summary

Talent Linked Consultancy in Mumbai seeks a Manager/Senior Manager/ DGM – Procurement with 10–15 years of pharma experience in API/KSM/intermediates. The role focuses on domestic and overseas procurement, vendor onboarding, and cross-functional collaboration from development to launch of products.

The candidate will drive sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and ensure regulatory and technical alignment across R&D, Regulatory, QA/QC teams. MBA/Materials Mgmt preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate with MBA/Materials Management preferred.
• Experience in Pharma API/KSM/Intermediates & Chemicals procurement.
• Knowledge of import and customs formalities.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing of KSM/Intermediate/API for SRA and Domestic market.
• Develop alternate vendors as per company policy.
• Ensure documents/audit for vendor approval are ready for onboarding.
• Ensure timely delivery of R&D materials & PV batch materials to meet project timelines.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement short- and long-term sourcing strategies.
• Negotiate, procure & deliver materials for NPD and Exhibit Batches.
• Provide regulatory and technical support to R&D, Regulatory, QA/QC, Store, and PM teams.
• Coordinate with Finance on vendor payments.

Name of Position: Manager/ Sr.Manager / DGM – Procurement (NPP/AVP)

Must Requirements in Job role (Knowledge/Experience/Qualification)

• Sourcing of KSM/Intermediate/API for SRA and Domestic market.
• Development of Alternate Vendor as per the Company Policy
• To have knowledge of Import and Custom formalities
• To ensure that all documents/Audit required for Vendor approval are made available for on boarding of the vendors
• To ensure timely delivery of R&D materials & PV batch materials to meet the timelines of the project
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to implement short- and long-term sourcing strategies
• Efficiently Negotiate, procure & delivery materials required for NPD, Exhibit Batches
• Consolidate, Challenge & provide Technical /Regulatory support to internal stakeholder including R&D, Regulatory, QA/QC, Store, etc. Working in close coordination with R&D, Regulatory, QA/QC & Project Management team right from development till launch of the product
• Partner with raw material procurement colleagues and regional materials leaders to leverage global sourcing and cross-business spend as well as identify new suppliers.
• To build Internal team with respect to Sourcing
• Coordinate with Finance with respect to Vendor payment.
• Prepare and circulate accurate and comprehensive Management Information System (MIS) reports related to procurement activities
• Education Qualification - Graduate Preferable with MBA/Materials Management
• Experience - 10-15 years Pharma Experience in API/ KSM/Intermediate & Chemicals in Procurement for Domestic and Import from Overseas Market
