Job summary

Intas Pharmaceuticals is seeking an experienced procurement professional to manage end-to-end sourcing of raw materials for biopharma manufacturing and support NPD initiatives. The role involves negotiating with global suppliers, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring GMP-compliant procurement processes.

Candidate should have 8-14 years in biopharma, with a degree in B.Tech or B.Pharm and strong communication skills. Experience with SAP MM is preferred.

• 8-14 years of diverse experience in Biopharma or Pharmaceuticals industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials for bio pharma manufacturing.
• Support New Product Development (NPD) by sourcing new materials, excipients, and packaging components.
• Source and procure Reference Listed Drugs (RLDs) for formulation development and regulatory needs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with domestic and international suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings.
• Ensure uninterrupted material availability while optimizing inventory levels.
• Collaborate with R&D, QA, QC, Regulatory Affairs, Production, and Supply Chain teams.
• Create and manage purchase requisitions, purchase orders, contracts, and vendor master data in SAP.
• Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions as required.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with GMP, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify procurement risks and implement mitigation strategies.

• Source and procure Reference Listed Drugs (RLDs) for formulation development, analytical studies, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings.
• Ensure uninterrupted material availability while optimizing inventory levels.
• Work closely with R&D, QA, QC, Regulatory Affairs, Production, and Supply Chain teams.
• Create and manage purchase requisitions, purchase orders, contracts, and vendor master data in SAP.
• Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions where required.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with GMP, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
