Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. invites an experienced Engineer to join the Materials Planning team in Maharashtra.

You will handle material procurement and planning for casting and forging parts across engines, transmissions, axles, and foundry, and drive alignment with MRP systems. Ideal candidates hold a BE in Mechanical/Production/Automobile and have 3–5 years of related experience in SCM, capacity planning, and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Production or Automobile is required.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in procurement, planning or SCM.
• Experience with IT tools like MRP/ERP systems and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Material procurement and planning for Casting and Forging parts for Vehicles and Aggregates.
• Utilization of IT tools like DBM / LTP / MRP for planning and tracking.
• Inventory management to ensure optimum stock levels and avoid shortages.
• Change management through the EN process to implement changes.
• Driving cost savings initiatives in Packaging, Material, and Logistics.
• Coordination and implementation of packaging and logistics cost-saving initiatives for the department.
