Job summary

Gokaldas Exports Ltd in Bengaluru is seeking a fabric development professional to translate design briefs into actionable knitting plans and calendar-driven milestones. You will source and develop performance knits with nominated mills, manage sampling, lab dips, testing, and negotiate development cost, MOQ, and lead time.

Join us to build a knit fabric library and bring new technologies to the brand, including recycled and moisture management fibers, ensuring bulk-ready fabrics for production.

Qualifications

• Source and develop performance knits with nominated mills.
• Manage sampling, lab dips, and testing to meet milestones.
• Negotiate costs, MOQs and lead times for bulk-ready fabrics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knit fabric library and hand over to Bulk team.

• Manage sampling, handlooms, lab dips and testing to meet development milestones.
• Negotiate development cost, MOQ and lead time; set up bulk-ready fabric.
• Build the knit fabric library and hand over approved fabrics to Bulk.
• Bring new technologies to the brand (recycled, moisture management, stretch).
