Job summary

Emeritus is hiring for Manager/Senior Manager – Product in India APAC. You will own end-to-end strategy and performance for a defined portfolio of programs, translating product vision into concrete plans, leading development and launches, and driving revenue and CM outcomes.

You will mentor Associates, align with University Relations, and collaborate across Marketing, Sales, and Delivery to ensure successful program execution and growth.

About Role -

As Manager/Senior Manager – Product, you will report into the Associate Director – Product and own end-to-end strategy and performance for a defined portfolio of programs within the India APAC business. You will translate the broader product vision into a concrete portfolio plan, lead product development and launches within that portfolio, and be accountable for its revenue and contribution margin outcomes. Alongside this, you will mentor Associates on the team and act as a connective layer between individual program execution and the Associate Director's broader strategic agenda.

Key Responsibilities

• Portfolio Strategy & Ownership: Own strategy, roadmap, and performance for a defined set of products/programs, translating the team's overall product vision into portfolio-level plans and quarterly priorities.
• Product Development: Lead the creation and enhancement of courses within your portfolio — pricing, positioning, and value proposition — partnering closely with University Relations and Learning Design through the development lifecycle.
• GTM Strategy: Drive targeting and communication strategy for your portfolio in collaboration with Performance Marketing and Product Marketing.
• Deliver Revenue and Contribution Margin Targets: Own enrolment, revenue, and CM outcomes for your portfolio, working closely with Revenue, Marketing, and Sales.
• Cross-functional Coordination: Coordinate stakeholders across functions for successful launches, and keep existing programs in the portfolio current with market and industry trends.
• Market Intelligence: Conduct market and competitive research to identify opportunities and inform prioritization within your portfolio.
• Mentorship: Guide and review the work of Associates, providing coaching on product development, GTM thinking, and analytical rigour.
• University Engagement: Represent the product perspective in select university working meetings relevant to your portfolio.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 4–5 years of business/product management experience for Manager; 6–7 years for Senior Manager, with a track record of owning outcomes (not just tasks) for a product or portfolio.
• Customer- and business-first thinking: Comfortable balancing learner outcomes with commercial targets.
• Analytical rigour: Proficiency in using data and market insight to inform portfolio decisions and measure performance.
• Stakeholder management: Proven ability to coordinate effectively across Marketing, Sales, Delivery, and University partners.
• Early people leadership: Experience mentoring or informally guiding junior team members preferred, particularly at the Senior Manager level.
