Job summary

PhonePe Limited seeks a seasoned Anti-Corruption Compliance professional to lead day-to-day program management for vendor due diligence and third-party intermediaries. You will coordinate with business units to identify TPIs, review ownership structures and regulatory risks, and drive annual certifications and audits.

The role requires 7+ years in vendor due diligence or compliance, strong integrity, and the ability to interface with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Commerce or Law graduate with 7+ years of vendor due diligence experience.
• Strong integrity, professionalism and commitment to excellence.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interface with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in using MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and internet-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management, execution and oversight of key components of the Anti-Corruption Compliance program for PhonePe Group.
• Understand vendor scope of work and identify Third party intermediaries (TPI) interacting with government.
• Fill required due diligence appendices as per Anti-Corruption procedure and obtain clarifications.
• Initiate due diligence in Global TPI Screening system for TPIs and Business Partners and review ownership structures, PEP, litigations, sanctions.
• Review TPI contracts and manage the annual certification process using streamlined workflows.
• Monitor all approved and rejected TPIs and circulate MIS to relevant business units regularly.
• Track and send TPI certifications to TPIs annually.
• Support Level I and II audits by providing data, resolving queries and designing MAPs.

Job Description

• Day-to-day management, execution and oversight of key components of the Anti-Corruption Compliance program for PhonePe Group.
• Understand from business unit the scope of work of vendors who will have any interaction with government on behalf of the company and help business units to identify Third party intermediaries (TPI).
• Co-ordinate with business unit to fill required due diligence appendices as per Anti-Corruption procedure and get clarification on due diligence appendices.
• Initiate due diligence in Global TPI Screening system and manages the due diligence process for third-party intermediaries (TPIs) and Business Partners (BPs). This includes review of the due diligence reports for the ownership structure, Politically Exposed Persons (‘PEP’), pending cases/ litigations, market reputation, regulatory non-compliance, adverse media, sanctions if any.
• Conduct thorough reviews of TPI contracts and manage the annual certification process using streamlined workflows.
• Monitoring all approved and rejected TPIs and circulate the MIS to relevant business units on a periodic basis.
• Track and send TPI certifications to all approved TPIs on an annual basis.
• Support Level I and II audits by providing accurate data, resolving operational queries, and designing robust Management Action Plans (MAPs).

Qualifications

• Commerce or Law Graduate with 7+ years of relevant experience of working on vendor due diligence, reviewing due diligence reports, identifying red flags in due diligence and resolve red flags through logical conclusion.
• A strong commitment to integrity and professionalism, and passion for excellence.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interface with cross -functional teams and front-line associates.
• Demonstrable computer literacy with specific ability to use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, internet and internet-based applications.
