Job summary

PhonePe Limited is seeking a Compliance professional to manage its Anti-Corruption program. You will oversee vendor due diligence, identify third-party intermediaries (TPIs), and coordinate with business units to ensure robust due diligence and annual certifications.

The role involves reviewing TPI contracts, supporting internal audits, and maintaining accurate MIS data for stakeholders. A Commerce or Law background with 3–4 years of relevant experience is preferred.

• Commerce or Law graduate with 3–4 years of experience in vendor due diligence and red-flag resolution.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management, execution and oversight of key components of the Anti-Corruption Compliance program for PhonePe Group.
• Identify TPIs and ensure due diligence appendices as per Anti-Corruption procedures.
• Initiate due diligence in Global TPI Screening system and review reports for ownership, PEPs, litigations and sanctions.
• Review TPI contracts and manage annual certification using streamlined workflows.
• Monitor approved/rejected TPIs and circulate MIS to business units periodically.
• Track and send TPI certifications annually and support Level I/II audits with data and MAPs.

Job Description

• Day-to-day management, execution and oversight of key components of the Anti-Corruption Compliance program for PhonePe Group.
• Understand from business unit the scope of work of vendors who will have any interaction with government on behalf of the company and help business units to identify Third party intermediaries (TPI).
• Co-ordinate with business unit to fill required due diligence appendices as per Anti-Corruption procedure and get clarification on due diligence appendices.
• Initiate due diligence in Global TPI Screening system and manages the due diligence process for third-party intermediaries (TPIs) and Business Partners (BPs). This includes review of the due diligence reports for the ownership structure, Politically Exposed Persons (‘PEP’), pending cases/ litigations, market reputation, regulatory non-compliance, adverse media, sanctions if any.
• Conduct thorough reviews of TPI contracts and manage the annual certification process using streamlined workflows.

• Monitoring all approved and rejected TPIs and circulate the MIS to relevant business units on a periodic basis.
• Track and send TPI certifications to all approved TPIs on an annual basis.
• Support Level I and II audits by providing accurate data, resolving operational queries, and designing robust Management Action Plans (MAPs).

Qualifications

• Commerce or Law Graduate with 3 - 4 years of relevant experience of working on vendor due diligence, reviewing due diligence reports, identifying red flags in due diligence and resolve red flags through logical conclusion.
• A strong commitment to integrity and professionalism, and passion for excellence.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interface with cross -functional teams and front-line associates.
• Demonstrable computer literacy with specific ability to use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, internet and internet-based applications.
