Titan Laboratories Pvt. Ltd. is strengthening its Accounts amp; Finance function as we enter the next phase of growth, with a focus on stronger financial controls, compliance, ERP discipline and business support.

Location: Ghatkopar, Mumbai

Function: Accounts & Finance

Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory

Experience: 7 to 12 years

Reporting To: MD / CFO (Consultant)

Key Accountabilities
  • Ensure accurate accounting, ledger scrutiny, reconciliations and timely monthly/periodic closure of books.
  • Strengthen accounting discipline across transactions, provisions, accruals, fixed assets, inventory-related accounting and balance-sheet schedules.
  • Ensure completeness and reliability of financial records and supporting documentation. Taxation & Statutory Compliance
  • Own/oversee timely and accurate TDS and GST compliance, reconciliations, returns, payments and related documentation.
  • Coordinate applicable statutory filings and ensure adherence to financial/tax compliance calendars.
  • Work with consultants and internal stakeholders for assessments, notices, reconciliations and closure of compliance matters. Financial Controls & Audit
  • Strengthen internal financial controls, maker-checker discipline, reconciliations and accounting SOPs.
  • Support statutory, internal and tax audits; ensure schedules, documentation and responses are provided accurately and on time.
  • Drive timely closure of audit observations and recurring control gaps.
ERP & Systems Discipline
  • Ensure transactions are correctly recorded in the Accounts ERP with appropriate masters, controls and accounting treatment.
  • Improve ERP-led processes, reporting and data accuracy in coordination with Finance and IT.
  • Support effective use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central where applicable; Business Central experience will be an added advantage.
Manufacturing Finance & Business Support
  • Apply sound accounting understanding to manufacturing operations, including inventory, purchases, production-related accounting and working-capital linkages.
  • Ensure the team provides accurate financial information, analysis and reconciliations to support the CFO and management decision- making.
  • Guide the team in working closely with Operations, Purchase, Supply Chain and other functions to resolve accounting, compliance and control issues.
Banking Support
  • Maintain a basic working understanding of banking operations, facilities and documentation.
  • Support routine banking coordination, reconciliations and information requirements in conjunction with Finance leadership.
Team & Governance
  • Lead, guide and develop the Accounts & Finance team through clear role ownership, review mechanisms, coaching and performance mdiscipline.
  • Build a culture of accuracy, timeliness, strong documentation, integrity and accountability, while developing team capability and reducing dependency on individual resources.
Key Interfaces Internal
  • MD, CFO, Accounts & Finance teams, Purchase, Supply Chain, Operations, HR, IT and other business functions. External: statutory/internal auditors, tax consultants, banks, vendors/customers and relevant statutory authorities as required.
Success Measures
  • Timely and accurate closure of books and financial reporting
  • Strong TDS, GST and statutory compliance with minimal avoidable exposure
  • Quality of reconciliations, accounting controls and audit readiness
  • Improved ERP discipline, data accuracy and transaction controls
  • Timely closure of audit and compliance observations
  • Reliable support to management on accounts, taxation, working-capital and banking matters
Candidate Profile
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
  • Typically, 7-12 years of relevant experience, with strong hands-on Accounts & Finance experience and demonstrated responsibility for leading an Accounts team in a manufacturing organization. Quality and relevance of experience will take precedence over number of years.
  • Experience in a manufacturing organization with annual turnover of at least approximately Rs. 200 crore is strongly preferred.
  • Strong practical knowledge of accounting, financial closing, reconciliations, TDS, GST and applicable statutory/compliance requirements.
  • Sound understanding of Accounts ERP systems and strong discipline around ERP-based accounting and controls. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central will be an added advantage.
  • Basic working understanding of banking operations, banking facilities, documentation and coordination with banks
  • Demonstrated people-management capability with strong analytical ability, attention to detail, ownership, integrity and the ability to guide teams and work cross-functionally.
