Responsibilities

• KRA1 Transportation: Manage vehicle fleet and ensure safe, timely transport services; reduce costs and vehicle counts where possible.
• KRA2 Security Operations: Implement Corporate Security and Safety Policy; ensure adherence and train security staff.
• KRA3 Safety: Create and maintain Fire and Safety Policy; train employees on safety measures such as CPR.
• KRA4 Process Discipline: Transfer knowledge of Physical Security Policy; promote Kaizen and 5S across offices.
• KRA5 Liaison with external agencies: Coordinate with law enforcement, transport vendors, security agencies and government bodies for emergencies.

This job is critical for the safety and security of employees as well as of company’s property. It Involves security assessment of all the offices and stores across the country.

Major Challenges Of This Role Are As Follows

• Security assessment and creating an SOP for different geographies since threats are different everywhere
• Handling multiple kinds of threats political, non-political, communal etc. threats
• Upgrading the security devices and maintaining their costs
• Ensuring efficiency of security deviceste security of company assets

¿Ensuring complete security of all employees at work place and while travelling to and from office on company transport

¿Should develop an efficient Intelligence Sourcing and Information gathering and thwart any loss/damage

KRA1 Transportation 1. Ensure to deliver high quality, prompt Transport services to support business requirements in a safe working environment.

• Management of vehicles and ensuring safety.
• Managing Company's fleet of buses/vans with efficient delivery schedules
• Ensure reduction cost on Transportation.
• Ensure reduction in the No of vehicles used for Employee Transportation

KRA2 Security Operations 1. Implement Corporate Security and Safety Policy for 100 % adherence

• Reduction on the cost implication on Security Deployment
• Ensure that security policies are in place and functional at all times
• Ensure that security staff at the offices are well trained and efficient in their duties
• Ensure responsibility for the physical means of protecting the property
• Ensure alertness for proper guarding against thefts, pilferage, accidents & intruders
• Ensuring that security measures are upgraded and kept current at the locations
• Ensure Critical Contact List (Fire Brigade, Police, Hospitals etc) should be updated & kept at venture points

KRA3 Safety 1. Creating & Maintaining Fire and Safety Policy as per corporate guidelines

• Circulating the policy to the employees
• Focused training of a dedicated team to handle all safety and security measures
• Training to Employees on Fire and CPR for saving life frequency of such structured Training covering all employees

KRA4 Process Discipline 1. Knowledge Transfer

• To ensure thorough understand the corporate guidelines of Physical Security Policy and Procedures
• Educating the employees about the compliances of the policy
• Ensure 100% Security Policy Adherence
• To introduce and facilitate and implement the Kaizen ad 5S principle across all offices
• To facilitate knowledge transfer where applicable

KRA5 Liaison with external agencies 1. To liaison with Law Enforcement Department to gather information.

• To liaison with Transport vendor for smooth functioning of vehicles for Employee Pickup and Drop.
• To liaison with Security Agencies with regard to investigation and smooth Functioning of the Security Team deployed at MG.
• To liaison with Bureau of Immigration ¿To liaise with the Fire Force Department
• To liaise with the Access Control and FAS vendor to upkeep all the systems installed at MG.
• Initiating liaison with Government agencies so as to enable smooth handling of emergencies and other situations
