Job summary

Godrej Ventures in Gurugram seeks a senior security leader to establish policies, govern risk management, and steer operations across assets and offices. You will drive standardization of CCTV, access, and smart security tech while coordinating with tenants and authorities.

The role emphasizes building a proactive security culture, managing vendors, and overseeing crisis response, continuity planning, and compliance across the portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Establish security policies, SOPs, standards and governance frameworks; conduct periodic risk assessments and mitigation.
• Advise senior leadership on emerging threats, vulnerabilities and risk exposure; foster proactive security culture.
• Oversee security operations across Commercial Assets, Development projects and corporate offices.
• Ensure deployment of manpower, access control, surveillance, perimeter security and visitor management.
• Set standards for CCTV, command centres, intrusion detection and security technologies.
• Evaluate and implement innovative security solutions and smart technologies.
• Develop security measures to protect assets, infrastructure and critical facilities; guard against theft and unauthorized access.
• Monitor security performance across properties via audits and inspections; investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Lead emergency preparedness, ERP, DMP and BCP; act as Incident Commander during major emergencies and coordinate with authorities.
• Conduct enterprise security risk assessments and ensure compliance with laws and security standards.
• Manage security service providers and technology partners; develop SLAs and conduct performance reviews.
• Oversee centralized command centres and monitoring; CCTV, access control, biometrics, visitor/KYC solutions, RFID and IDS.
• Analyse security trends and incident data for continuous improvement; liaise with tenants and key stakeholders.
• Design and execute security training; conduct mock drills and build competency frameworks; promote awareness.

• Oversee security operations across Commercial Assets, Development projects & corporate offices.
• Ensure effective deployment of manpower, access control, surveillance, perimeter security, and visitor management systems.
• Establish standards for CCTV systems, command centres, intrusion detection systems, and security technologies.
• Evaluate and implement innovative security solutions and smart technologies.

3. Asset and Property Protection

• Develop security measures to protect company assets, infrastructure, and critical facilities.
• Ensure protection against theft, vandalism, trespassing, sabotage, and unauthorized access.
• Monitor security performance across all properties through audits and inspections.
• Investigate security incidents and implement corrective actions.
• 4. Crisis Management and Business Continuity
• Lead emergency preparedness and response planning.
• Establish and periodically test Emergency Response Plans (ERP), Disaster Management Plans (DMP), and Business Continuity Plans (BCP).
• Act as Incident Commander during major emergencies.
• Coordinate with emergency services, police, fire departments, and local authorities during crises. 5. Risk Management and Compliance
• Conduct enterprise security risk assessments across the portfolio.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and security standards.
• Support legal and compliance teams during investigations and litigation-related matters.
• Maintain statutory security records and documentation.
• 6. Vendor and Contract Management
• Manage security service providers and technology partners.
• Develop security manpower deployment models and service level agreements.
• Conduct performance reviews and security audits of contractors.
• Drive service quality, productivity, and cost optimization.
• 7. Security Technology & Control Room Operations
• Oversee centralized command centres and monitoring operations.
• Drive implementation and management of:
• CCTV Systems
• Access Control Systems
• Biometrics
• Visitor Management Systems
• RFID Solutions
• Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems
• Security Analytics and AI-based Monitoring
• Analyse security trends and incident data for continuous improvement.
• 8. Stakeholder Management
• Work closely with Property Management, Facilities, Leasing, HR, Legal, EHS, IT, Development and Operations teams.
• Build strong relationships with tenants and key stakeholders.
• Liaise with government authorities, police departments, intelligence agencies, and emergency responders.
• 9. Training and Development
• Design and execute security training programs.
• Conduct mock drills for fire, emergency evacuation, active threat, and disaster response scenarios.
• Develop competency frameworks for security personnel.
• Promote awareness programs for employees, tenants, and occupants.
