Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. is strengthening its plant security with robust access control, perimeter protection, and proactive incident response to support smooth production. The role emphasizes preventing theft, fraud, and misappropriation while maintaining secure plant operations.

The incumbent will lead security measures, coordinate with local authorities, and train personnel on emergency procedures, surveillance, and patrolling to uphold a secure environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in security operations in an industrial/plant setting.

Responsibilities

• Implement access control to restrict entry of unauthorized personnel inside the plant.
• Maintain perimeter security and secure movement of materials and other vehicles.
• Develop incident response procedures and ensure 24/7 readiness of security staff.
• Liaise with local police, government agencies, and neighboring industrial establishments.
• Develop and conduct security training for all security personnel (emergency response, threat escalation, evacuation, surveillance, patrolling, etc.).
• Create SOPs for all security posts and refresh security staff through regular training.

Job description

To provide overall security to plant, keeping threats such as theft, fraud, misappropriation, sabotage, at bay by introducing effective security systems and controls ensuring smooth production environment. Ensure effective access control system to restrictentry of unauthorized personnel insidethe plant. Ensure effective perimeter security, safe movement of material and other vehicles in plant, optimal use of electronic security, material movement, key management. To create incident response procedure on 24/7 basis, keeping security staff in readiness. Assist company management with disciplinary and legal matters. To liaison effectivelywith local police, Govt agencies and neighborhood industrial establishments. Develop and conduct security training of all security personnel Training content to include: emergency response measures, threat escalation procedures, communication, physical evacuation, hand ling of security equipment, surveillance, patrolling etc. To create a document onSOP of all security post and refresh the entire security staff by regular training To be vigilant and give inputs to management during sensitive situation from IR point of view
