Job summary

Genpact is hiring for a Sr. Specialist - F&A - R2R in India. You will lead the Record to Report function, manage a ~15-person team, and ensure timely close and SLA achievement.

The role requires a strong accounting background and comfort with shifts in a dynamic environment. You will collaborate with Business Accounting and internal partners to resolve issues, standardize processes, and drive performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting/commerce/finance or economics.
• Experience leading a team of ~15 people in Record to Report.
• Willingness to work in shifts and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead activities related to record to report end-to-end.
• Oversee a large R2R team and ensure SLA/KPI adherence.
• Review day-to-day activities including reconciliations, journal entries, reports, audit requests, and analyses.
• Manage close timelines and communicate deadlines timely.
• Collaborate with Business Accounting and internal partners to resolve issues.
• Prioritize multiple partner needs.
• Support metrics reporting for the process.
• Be a people manager: hiring, mentoring, and learning paths.

Job Description

We are inviting applications for the role of a Manager Record to Report! If you are an accounting graduate with prior accounting experience and have led a team size of ~15 people we’re looking forward for you to apply. In this role you will be encouraged to work on deadlines in a fairly fast paced business environment while being a good excellent teammate and be open to working in any shift as per the business requirement.

Responsibilities

• In this role you shall be responsible for all the activities related to record to report.
• You shall lead a large team in Record to Report domain while ensuring adherence to baseline values for all Service Level Agreements-KPI & CPI
• Review teams day to day activities including but not limited to Account Reconciliations journal entries reports audit requests analysis and other requests
• Handle close timelines and communicate on a timely basis in accordance to the deadlines
• Work well with the Business Accounting team and internal partners to resolve issues
• You should prioritize multiple partners
• You should be responsible for supporting the metrics reporting for the significant process
• Be a peoples manager involving in hiring structured learning path operations mentor for the team
