A leading technology services firm in Pune is seeking an Assistant Vice President for Record to Report. This role involves managing a large team, ensuring timely financial closures, and driving improvements. Candidates should be Chartered Accountants with experience in client service and R2R operations. Qualifications

• Leading R2R team in General Accounting and Fixed Assets.
• Must have experience in implementing new technologies in operations.
• Prior experience in R2R domains managing large teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead large teams ensuring timely month-end closures.
• Achieve customer satisfaction through F&A service delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement using lean six sigma.
• Demonstrate deep knowledge of R2R components including intercompany, fixed assets, month-end close, accruals, and financial reporting.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma to drive continuous improvement and transformation.
• Work with cross-functional teams (Operations, GPO, Digital, Transformation, Transitions).
• Proactively troubleshoot and manage organizational change scenarios; close performance gaps with improvement plans.
• Participate in new deal processes including solutioning, pricing, due diligence, transition, and stabilization.

In this role, you will be responsible for RTR SDL role and will be requirement based & hence flexible, equipped to Focus on continuous process improvement and adaptive to change, Develop & lead effective working relationships in the organization and actively collaborate closely with all Key Stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Lead large R2R team in areas of General Accounting, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, Account Reconciliation. Balance month end, quarter end year end – preparation, be responsible for smooth execution & ensure books are closed on time, groom and enable career progression while encouraging Genpact culture (CI2). Achieve /exceed retention targets.
• Lead the delivery of outsourced services F&A: R2R to ensure customer satisfaction and increased revenue through client up-sell
• Collaborate and work globally with other Genpact business leaders and functional leaders to build and commercialize existing and new product offerings
• Sound knowledge of the R2R aspects like Inter-co accounting, Fixed Assets accounting, Bank and balance sheet reckons, Month end close aspects, Accruals, amortizations, financials submission in Fin. Reporting systems etc.
• Demonstrate lean six sigma framework to drive continuous performance improvement and drive transformation agenda
• Must be able to work with cross functional teams like Operations, GPO, Digital team, Transformation team, Transitions team etc.
• Pro-active, ability to trouble shoot, work through organizational change scenarios.
• Implement appropriate mechanisms to identify, understand and bring up performance gaps and/or performance breakthroughs. Develop and implement improvement plans to close performance gaps.
• Collaborate in the new deal process including solutioning, pricing, due diligence, transition, and stabilization

Qualifications we seek in you!

• Own end-to-end client service delivery and P&L
• Be a key driving force in leading new/existing relationships with a set of valuable clients leading to a balanced P&L
• Develop a strategy for winning and transitioning new deals while running and growing the existing relationships
• Own the way in implementing new technologies in operations and display a strong executive presence
• Engage in building collaborative teams that align and work to achieve Genpact and Client goals.
• Excellent knowledge of ERP Applications, Workflow Tools etc.
• Qualified Chartered Accountant and Graduate from top Commerce colleges.
• Prior experience in the services industry in leading large teams in R2R domains.
• Intellectual agility and analytical outlook

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Prior Record to Report Operations experience in the Industry with driving transformation / projects experience / Robotic implementation experience will be preferred
