Job summary

EXL Talent Acquisition Team is seeking a seasoned Back Office-Finance & Accounting professional for their Noida operations. The role requires 9-12 years of relevant experience with a strong grasp of reinsurance FP&A, accounting policies, and compliance.

You will own cession statements for captive clients, perform reconciliations, and support monthly financial reporting. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in accounting/finance or is a qualified/semi-qualified accountant, with expertise in Power

Qualifications

• Masters in accounting/finance or qualified/semi-qualified accountant.
• 10 years' experience in insurance/reinsurance processes.
• Knowledge of tools such as Power BI, Alteryx is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own reinsurance cession statements for captive clients.
• Balance monthly data and settle reinsurance balances.
• Adjust ledger entries and support financial reporting.
• Perform monthly reconciliations and analytics.
• Assist with ad hoc departmental projects.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and FP&A processes.

Responsibilities

• The primary responsibilities include ownership of handlings reinsurance cession statements for captive clients.
• This includes monthly data balancing, settlements of reinsurance balances
• Financial adjustments to ledger, financial reporting, financial systems conversions
• monthly reconciliations and monthly/quarterly analytics
• Perform accounting functions resulting in accurate and timely financial statements and related reports for senior management. This position will also assist with ad hoc departmental projects
• knowledge of reinsurance FP&A process and understanding of accounting policies & compliance and reconciliation.

Qualifications

• Masters in accounting/finance/Qualified/Semi Qualified Accountant
