Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor day to day real time scheduling including emergencies.
• Manage patient flow and ensure timely dispatch of reports.
• Ensure complete transparent billing and strict stock control.
• Prepare monthly duty rosters and ensure staff availability round the clock.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

He/she is required to manage the following tasks (list is inclusive but not exhaustive).

Scheduling

• To monitor day to day real time scheduling including emergency cases
• To monitor planned and unplanned cancellations.
• To recommend, implement and monitor methods to for operational optimization.
• To maintain internal department records and data for monthly management department performance review.

Patient Management

• To ensure smooth patient flow
• To ensure timely dispatch of all reports.
• To handle all patient complaints that may arise in the department keeping the management in loop of all details at all times.
• To ensure patient safety and compliance to hospital protocols.

Fiscal Control

• To ensure complete correct and transparent billing on same day as procedure.
• To maintain strict stock control including random audits.
• To periodically audit all department expenditures and suggest ways to optimize same.
• To ensure periodic equipment maintenance to minimize unplanned downtimes.
• To recommend, implement and monitor methods to achieve cost optimization without impacting patient care delivery standards.
• Ensuring complete statutory compliances.

Manpower Management

• To prepare monthly duty rota of all reportees.
• To ensure timely and prompt availability of staff round the clock.
• To monitor overtime payments and recommend manpower structure to minimize overtime payments.

In addition ,He/ she may be required to do any tasks over and above those detailed above, as and when assigned by the Hospital Authorities.
