Job summary

Max Healthcare in Lucknow seeks an experienced radiology leader to oversee patient care, supervise all radiology tests, and coordinate with the department head on infrastructure and CME activities. The role requires proactive planning, adherence to safety, and ongoing engagement with the latest radiology developments.

The position involves ensuring equipment readiness, reporting accuracy, and supervising nursing and paramedical staff to maintain high standards of care in a busy hospital

Responsibilities

Ensure proper attention to patients and attendants.
Plan and anticipate patient care needs.
Provide expert radiology consultation for patients.
Stay updated with latest radiology research and techniques.
Supervise all radiology tests and procedures.
Generate reports for tests and procedures performed.
Ensure wards/OT have necessary equipment for care.
Supervise nursing/paramedical and non-medical staff.
Select consumables and equipment to procure.
Coordinate with HOD on infrastructure and CME.
Ensure optimal resource utilization.
Adhere to QMS, EMS, and patient safety policies.

Job description

To ensure proper attention to the patient & theirattendants.
To proactive in terms of patient care (Planning andanticipation)
To provide expert consultation and manage all patients related to radiology.
To keep abreast with latest research, development & techniques in the field of radiology.
To conduct and supervise all tests / procedures related to radiology.
To generate reports on test / procedures performed(Operation notes and discharge summary.
To ensure that the wards / O.T. rooms have equipment /facilities necessary for rendering patient care
To supervise all nursing /paramedical and non medical staff of the department to maintain discipline and high standard of medical care at the departments.
To select type and nature of medical consumables andequipment to be procured.
To co-ordinate and contribute with the team fordevelopment of newer facilitiesTo co-ordiantewith Head Of Department on all matters relating to:- provision infrastructure and maintenance support-complaintredressalof patients. To take part in all regular CME’s.
To ensure optimumutilizationof resources by the him/her andsubordinates
To be well groomed, punctual & adhere to companypolicies andpractices.
To have complete orientation of QMS and EMS system of Hospital.
To have complete Awareness about Disaster ManagementProgramme(DMP) of the hospital.
To Comply with the service quality Process,environmental & occupationalissues& policies of the respective area
To Comply with patient safety policy
To ensure safe utilization of equipment and properwaste disposalsystem.
