Job summary

Delta Recruitment Consultants Private Limited invites applications for a Manager - Quality Assurance and Quality Control in Mumbai. The candidate will lead QA/QC activities across civil construction projects, ensuring compliance with IS Codes and ISO 9001:2015 standards.

The role requires extensive experience in high-rise construction, strong documentation skills, and capability to manage a team of QA/QC engineers.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years of relevant experience with BE Civil or 15–18 years with Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Strong experience in high-rise construction and civil infrastructure projects.
• Excellent knowledge of IS Codes for construction materials.
• Experience in ISO 9001:2015, quality audits, inspection procedures and quality documentation.
• Strong team management, coordination, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and spoken English communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement SOPs and quality standards across projects.
• Implement and monitor the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and Project Quality Plans.
• Oversee inspections and quality checks for RCC, concrete, waterproofing, tiling, interior works and other civil construction activities.
• Prepare and review QAPs, ITPs, method statements, inspection checklists and quality documentation.
• Ensure construction materials and workmanship comply with approved specifications and applicable IS Codes.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and site execution teams for inspections and approvals.
• Conduct internal quality audits, quality walks and review meetings.
• Raise and monitor Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure timely corrective action and closure.
• Prepare monthly quality reports for management and clients.
• Manage and guide QA/QC engineers and other team members.
