Job summary

Shapoorji Pallonji Group is seeking a Senior QA/QC professional to oversee quality across civil, architectural and structural disciplines on high-value projects in Hyderabad.

You will manage QA/QC documentation, develop inspection standards, coordinate with contractors and vendors, and lead audits and reporting to ensure adherence to quality manuals.

Qualifications

• B. Tech / B.E Civil with 12-20 years of experience.
• Experience with reputed contracting organisations and high-value projects.
• Proven expertise in high-rise buildings and commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality and workmanship across civil, architectural and structural activities.
• Maintain QA/QC documents, certificates, test results, NCRs and site instructions.
• Develop standards for inspections and tests and oversee testing methods.
• Lead testing schedules and quality audits, ensuring compliance with manuals.
• Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to maintain quality of systems.
• Prepare ITPs, risk assessments, JSA and checklists per project specs.
• Liaise with client for vendor material approvals.
• Review monthly quality reports and MIS.
• Snagging of flats tower-wise for handover.

Job description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the quality and workmanship of every activity, thorough knowledge of all phases of engineering construction relating to Civil, Architectural and Structural discipline interfacing the multidisciplinary operations.
• Taking care of QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents.
• Develop and determine all standards to perform inspection and tests on all procedures and oversee all testing methods and maintain high standards of quality for all processes.
• Supervise effective implementation of all test and inspection schedule and ensure adherence to all procedures and coordinate with various teams to perform quality audits on processes.
• Assist with employees to ensure knowledge of all quality standards and ensure compliance to all quality manual and procedures and collaborate with contractors and suppliers to maintain the quality of all systems.
• Manage and perform quality audits as per required schedule.
• Analyse all products and non-conformance processes and evaluate all documents to ensure the maintenance of optimal quality and prepare monthly reports to evaluate performance.
• Monitor an efficient system and record for all project activities and analyse all processes to ensure all work according to quality requirements.
• Manage all work methods and maintain knowledge on all quality assurance standards and monitor continuous application for all quality assurance processes and recommend corrective actions for all processes.
• Develop a method statement for the activity including risk assessment and job safety environmental analysis and Inspection Test Plan and Checklist based on specifications of the project.
• Liaise with client for vendor material approval.
• Monitoring of all activities related to Quality.
• Review of monthly project quality reports and MIS reports.
• Visiting of other projects and material factory inspections with client and vendor for new materials. Preparation of ITP and revision of ITPs asper project requirement.
• Getting necessary approvals of ITPs, Third party test certificates from client.
• Preparation of technical comparative statement of material and getting material approval with all necessary documents.
• Snagging of flats tower wise for handing over flats.

Desired Candidate Profile

• B. Tech / B.E Civil full time with 12-20 years of experience.
• Should have worked with reputed contracting organisations and of high value projects.
• 12 to 20 years in the construction industry, with proven expertise in highrise buildings, commercial buildings etc..
