Job summary

Lauritz Knudsen Electrical and Automation, a unit of Schneider Electric India, seeks a Manager - Quality at the Ahmednagar factory to lead supplier quality and ensure compliance with ISO/IATF standards.

The role involves monitoring supplier performance, driving quality improvements, conducting audits and participating in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and Control Plan activities.

Strong analytical skills and Lean/Six Sigma expertise are essential to reduce customer complaints and improve product quality.

Qualifications

• BE Electrical degree with 5–8 years of experience in Quality.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor & evaluate supplier quality performance through KPIs and scorecards.
• Handle supplier quality issues and non-conformances.
• Drive supplier quality improvement programs.
• Participate in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, and Process Validation activities.
• Lead root cause analysis using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and other problem-solving methodologies.
• Supplier Audits, Flash Audit, Special process Audits & Part validation.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Monitor & evaluate supplier quality performance through KPIs and scorecards.
• Handle supplier quality issues and non-conformances.
• Drive supplier quality improvement programs.
