Job summary

Premier Fine Linens in Tamil Nadu is seeking a senior Quality Assurance leader to oversee QA across the entire home textile manufacturing process, from incoming materials to final dispatch.

You will develop and implement quality systems, SOPs, and inspection standards, drive CAPA and continuous improvement, and coordinate internal and customer audits to ensure compliance with ISO/QMS requirements and customer specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Textile Technology or related field.
• 10–15 years QA exp in Home Textile/Manufacturing.
• Experience with customer audits, CAPA, Lean, Six Sigma, continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the QA function across the home textile manufacturing process.
• Develop and implement quality systems, SOPs, and inspection standards.
• Drive in-process and final inspections to meet specs and AQL.
• Analyze issues with 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone; implement CAPA.
• Monitor DHU, RFT, PPM, rejection rates, and drive improvements.
• Coordinate customer and third-party audits; close audit observations.
• Collaborate with Production, Merchandising, Planning, Process House, Engineering, and Supply Chain to improve quality.
• Lead and mentor the Quality team; drive Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma initiatives.
• Present quality performance reports to senior management.

Role & responsibilities

• Lead the Quality Assurance function across the entire home textile manufacturing process, from incoming materials to final dispatch.
• Develop and implement quality systems, SOPs, and inspection standards to ensure consistent product quality.
• Drive in-process and final quality inspections to meet customer specifications and AQL requirements.
• Analyze quality issues, conduct root cause analysis (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone), and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Monitor key quality metrics such as DHU, RFT, PPM, rejection rates, rework, and customer complaints, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with customer standards, ISO/QMS requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Coordinate customer, third-party, and certification audits, ensuring timely closure of audit observations.
• Collaborate with Production, Merchandising, Planning, Process House, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to improve process capability and product quality.
• Lead and mentor the Quality team by setting performance goals, developing competencies, and fostering a culture of quality excellence.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and other quality improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve operational efficiency.
• Work closely with customers to resolve quality concerns and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and present quality performance reports and dashboards to senior management.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Textile Technology, Textile Engineering, Apparel Technology, or a related discipline.
• 1015 years of experience in Quality Assurance within the Home Textile / Made-ups / Terry Towels / Bedding / Textile Manufacturing industry.
• Hands-on experience in customer audits, process audits, CAPA, Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement.
• Experience working with international customers and export-oriented manufacturing is highly preferred.
