Job summary

Swiggy Instamart in Bengaluru is seeking a senior QHSE professional to lead internal and external quality and food safety audits across food categories. You will drive CAPA closures, collaborate with operations, supply chain, and central quality teams, and ensure compliance with FSSAI norms and hygiene practices.

The role requires 6+ years in QHSE within quick commerce or e-grocery, FoSTaC certification, and strong analytical and communication skills to drive continuous improvement and customer

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE), preferably from Quick Commerce (Q-Commerce) or e-grocery sector.
• Strong knowledge of FSSAI regulations; FoSTaC certification is highly preferred.
• Advanced analytical capabilities for data-driven decision-making, with direct exposure to using AI tools for process optimization.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills, paired with strong executive presentation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Food Audit Project Management: End-to-end planning, execution, and project management of internal and external quality and food safety audits across all food categories.
• CAPA & Non-Compliance Closure: Drive root-cause analysis and timely closure of non-compliances (NCs) across all darkstores/fulfillment centers.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with darkstore operations, supply chain, category, and central quality teams to establish seamless compliance workflows.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to FSSAI norms, state food safety regulations, and industry-standard hygiene practices.
• Customer Satisfaction & IGCC: Manage Inbound/Outbound Goods Control Center (IGCC) processes to directly improve product quality and boost overall customer satisfaction metrics.
• AI-Driven Continuous Improvement: Leverage AI tools and automated quality management systems to analyze audit data, predict compliance risks, and streamline reporting.
