Job summary

Talent Leads HR in Mumbai is seeking a capable Project Manager to lead end-to-end restaurant project development, ensuring timely openings, budget control, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.

You will coordinate design, civil, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, kitchen, façade and other technical aspects, manage vendors and leases, and report progress to senior management. Strong leadership and stakeholder management are essential.

• Monitor asset procurement, installation, and handover to Operations; report progress.

1. Job Purpose

To lead end-to-end restaurant project development, ensuring timely store openings, budget control, quality standards, statutory compliance, and alignment with business expansion objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution: Manage project timelines, new store openings, execution, and timely completion.
• Design & Technical Coordination: Oversee layouts, civil, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, kitchen, faade, and other technical requirements.
• Budget & Cost Management: Prepare project budgets, monitor expenditure, negotiate costs, and ensure budget adherence.
• Vendor & Site Management: Manage contractors, vendor selection, work allocation, site progress, quality, and equipment installation.
• Team & Stakeholder Management: Lead the Projects team and coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders.
• Leasing & Documentation: Oversee lease documentation, landlord coordination, lease renewals, and compliance with lease terms.
• Licensing & Compliance: Ensure timely completion and renewal of applicable licences, statutory approvals, registrations, and regulatory requirements.
• Asset Management & Handover: Monitor asset procurement, movement, installation, commissioning, and complete handover to Operations.
• MIS & Reporting: Maintain project dashboards and report progress, budgets, risks, delays, and performance to senior management.

• At least 95% of projects opened within approved timelines.
• Adherence to project budgets and quality standards.
• Timely completion of licences, approvals, and lease documentation.
