Job summary

Maiz Kitchens is seeking a Project Manager to drive the rollout of dine-in outlets, cloud kitchens, and refurbishments across the brand in pan-India. You will own the project pipeline, coordinate with Design and Ops, and ensure launches on time and within budget.

The role requires 6–10 years in fit-out projects including restaurant tech, strong MEP and BOQ knowledge, and fluency in English and Hindi. Frequent travel and on-site oversight are expected, with responsibility from site handover to

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Civil Eng, Architecture, Interior Design or MEP.
• 6–10 years in fit-out projects, including 3+ years in restaurants, QSR, cloud kitchens or retail chains.
• Hands-on knowledge of commercial kitchens, MEP works, BOQs and contractor billing.
• AutoCAD is a must; strong Excel and scheduling skills.
• Fluent in English and Hindi.

Responsibilities

• Plan the project pipeline and schedules for all openings and refurbishments; flag risks to launch dates early.
• Run technical surveys (power, water, gas, exhaust, drainage, fire) and estimate capex before lease sign-off.
• Coordinate with the Design team; approve layouts and kitchen designs suited to each brand's menu.
• Prepare BOQs and budgets, run tenders, negotiate with vendors and verify contractor bills.
• Manage contractors on site to deliver on schedule, to spec and safely.
• Secure fit-out related licences and NOCs (fire, electrical, gas, signage, FSSAI layout).
• Commission equipment and hand over snag-free outlets to Operations with drawings, warranties and AMCs.
• Share weekly project status and monthly capex reports; maintain brand design and kitchen standards.
