We are hiring for a Project Manager for IT Infrastructure in financial service environments, based in Mumbai (BKC).

Role Overview

Seeking a skilled Project Manager with strong expertise in enterprise data storage technologies (Hitachi, Dell EMC, HPE, NetApp, etc.) and experience managing large‑scale security software deployment projects within financial services environments. Responsible for end‑to‑end management of complex storage infrastructure and security transformation initiatives, including storage migrations, replication setups, multi‑datacenter architectures, disaster recovery implementations, and enterprise security solution rollouts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end‑to‑end delivery of IT infrastructure projects focused on enterprise data storage and security software deployments.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute storage migration projects (block, file, object) ensuring minimal downtime and business continuity.
• Oversee implementation of storage replication solutions (synchronous/asynchronous replication, SRDF, TrueCopy, GAD, MetroCluster, etc.).
• Manage setup and configuration of two‑datacenter and three‑datacenter DR architectures, ensuring resilience and RPO/RTO compliance.
• Drive deployment and implementation of enterprise security solutions such as endpoint security, privileged access management, SIEM, DLP, IAM, vulnerability management, backup security, and compliance tools within banking/financial environments.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, security, network, application, and compliance teams for seamless integration of security platforms.
• Ensure adherence to security, audit, regulatory, and compliance requirements relevant to financial institutions.
• Collaborate with storage architects and engineers to design scalable and secure storage infrastructures aligned with business requirements.
• Track project progress using standard PM methodologies (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid) and maintain high‑quality documentation.
• Coordinate testing, validation, cutover planning, security assessments, and post‑implementation support activities.
• Identify project risks and dependencies; drive mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
• Work closely with vendors (Hitachi, Dell EMC, HPE, NetApp, cybersecurity vendors, etc.) for hardware/software delivery, support coordination, and escalation management.
• Communicate project status to stakeholders through structured reporting, dashboards, governance reviews, and steering committee.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 5 years in enterprise data storage and/or security deployment projects.
• Strong domain expertise with storage platforms such as Hitachi VSP, Dell EMC PowerMax/Unity, HPE 3PAR/Primera, NetApp ONTAP, etc.
• Proven experience managing security software deployment projects within banking, BFSI, or financial services organizations.
• Hands‑on understanding of storage migration methodologies, replication technologies, DR architectures (2DC/3DC), and enterprise security frameworks.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity and compliance standards such as ISO 27001, RBI guidelines, PCI-DSS, SOC, or related regulatory frameworks is preferred.
• Experience managing cross‑functional technical teams and coordinating with global stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management tools (Jira, MS Project, ServiceNow, etc.).
• PMP/PRINCE2/Agile certifications preferred.
• Excellent communication, vendor management, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.
