Job summary

SOLIZE PARTNERS India Pvt. Ltd. seeks a senior engineering leader to direct two-wheeler product development from concept to customer delivery. You will oversee planning, budgets, and cross-functional teams, using CATIA for 3D design and ensuring compliance with automotive standards.

Ideal candidates have 12–15 years in automotive development, 5+ years in project and people management, strong communication and leadership, with mentoring abilities; Japanese language is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Masters or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 12–15 years of automotive product development experience.
• 5+ years in two-wheeler design and development.
• About 5 years in project and team management.
• Proficient in CATIA V5 for 3D design and 2D drafting.
• Strong understanding of design principles and materials.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Proven track record leading complex engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of two-wheeler product development from concept to completion at customer location.
• Oversee project planning, execution, budgets and quality adherence.
• Design and develop motorcycle body, exterior, seating and lighting components using CATIA.
• Apply knowledge of materials (plastic, steel, aluminum, rubber) in automotive applications.
• Use design and engineering calculations to solve technical challenges.
• Interpret results and propose solutions based on CAE structural analysis.
• Ensure compliance with vehicle regulations and evaluation methods.
• Mentor a team of engineers and designers across domains.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure seamless collaboration.
